Newquay in the Victorian Age

A series of videos about Newquay and the Victorian Age looks at Newquay's growth and evolving industries from before 1837 to the end of Queen Victoria's reign in 1901. This period saw the greatest changes in Newquay from two small settlements revolving around the fishing industry to the start of the thriving tourist era with Newquay as the dominant tourist destination in Cornwall.

These are aimed at Young people at Key Stage 2 level and are supplemented with downloadable pdf's containing more information. However, they will be of interest to others wanting to learn about Newquay.
