Newquay Museum & Gallery

Newquay Museum & Gallery includes Kowethas Ertach Kernow which also has a research library at Newquay Museum lead partner at Cornish Cultural Hub Tewynblustri. This is shared with our partners Newquay Old Cornwall Society, which also has its own museum room and archive.

Our museum room has a gallery of vintage Cornish art dating from the mid 19th century together with contemporary artwork by local artists. There are displays of vintage Cornish studio pottery as well as exhibitions and displays of Cornish interest.

We hold a large collection of books for research purposes as well as a range of Cornish and general books for sale

We hope in due course to be able to add galleries showing larger number of items linked via the images below. This currently gives examples of the range of items held in the Kowethas Ertach Kernow collection.

Within the Kowethas Ertach Kernow Museum & Gallery rooms can be found the Cornish Coffee Lounge a themed coffeeshop that is home to many groups and activities. 

We will be adding images of some of our collection of Cornish Studio Pottery and art in due course.
