I was wondering if this is the ruins of the church that was there when my ancesters were baptised in the late 1600’s and early 1700’s. Their baptisms are recorded in the parish of Peranzabuloe.
Yes I would think so as church services continued until the late 1700’s and the new Perranzabuloe Church wasn’t completed until 1805. Burials at the old church even continued after 1805 for a time.
I believe the record’s are not totally complete, often this depended on the efficiency of the vicar or curate.
Thank you for your interest.
