Dairyland Farm World
Kowethas Ertach Kernow has been working with our primary partner Newquay Old Cornwall Society at their Dairyland Museum on the outskirts of Newquay. The Dairyland Museum originally focused entirely on Newquay and its historic heritage. Since expanding the area utilised by the addition of new recycled cabinets from Porthcurno Telegraph Museum the focus has widened to include a range of Cornish themes. This chimes with the Dairyland Farm Museum, which has some wonderful artefacts and machinery dating from the early 19th century.
At the Dairyland Cornish cultural museum a number of other Cornish organisations share the space and work with Kowethas Kernow Goth Tewynblustri (Newquay Old Cornwall Society). These Include Redruth Old Cornwall Society with a range of artefacts from their extensive range collected over a number of years. A display illustrating the work and interests of Kernow Goth through the Federation of Old Cornwall Societies. The Truro College based History Heritage & Culture foundation degree course and Archaeology degree course also share some of their work at Dairyland.
